The client, Global University Systems, is a network of institutions, affiliates and partners that offer globally-respected courses and qualifications to students from all corners of the world. They were looking to develop a new software solution around employee skills and training, which could compare job listings, employee resumes and courses using Natural Language Processing, to identify the skills students and job searchers should look to develop and build bespoke courses for them. The client had a rough idea of the solution design and had engaged with a -of software development companies for proposals, however the client needed support in developing their product roadmap and evaluating the different external software development companies.

We worked closely with the company leadership to identify the core stages of their solution development, their high level solution architecture and prioritise their solution features.
Once the vendors submitted their proposals these were assessed against their understanding of the requirements; the solution features and functionality; the quality & robustness of the proposed solution; their technical expertise; design & user experience; scalability of the proposed solution; their demonstrated technical expertise and client service and price.

We also provided a detailed commentary on their proposed Data Science Approach and a long list of questions for vendors. Finally we provided our conclusions & recommendations, and Global University Systems went ahead with our proposed vendor and developed a successful AI education platform with 200k+ App Downloads, 20k+ Courses Available and 32k+ Job opportunities.
